Of course, but...
Of course the EPA should have the power to revoke permits. But that's just not the way politics work. As long as "corporations are people," and the court system (especially SCOTUS) has a political agenda, all government agencies will operate under the tyranny of whoever has the money. Unwittingly, we the governed have given our consent to this kind of despotism.
Let's continue to enjoy our small victories, and please continue the fight. Don't let my skepticism discourage you.
